Power Outage
Well, I finally have something to update about.
I got home today, and discovered (why not?) that the power was out. I expect power outages in the middle of snow storms, or wind storms, but apparently, for a little variety, we are going to have one in the middle of a very nice Tuesday afternoon (though there is a LOT of pollen in the air), with clear skies and a slight breeze. So we have no power.
I think that only parts of North Plains are out of power, but I am not really sure. The story I got was that some piece of machinery involved in getting power to people broke down.
For me, its not that big a deal, as long as the power comes back on somewhat soon. My cell phone and laptop battery are pretty much charged, so I think I'm good for a while.
One last and totally irrelevant thing (that I have already mentioned once): It seriously looked like it was raining pollen today. Hopefully there aren't too many other days like this.
